Substance use concerns frequently complicate collaborative divorce cases — yet the data, diagnoses, and treatment recommendations can feel difficult to translate into clear, case-specific strategies.

In this Lunch & Learn, Kevin Gilliland, PsyD, will help collaborative professionals bridge that gap. Drawing on extensive clinical experience, Dr. Gilliland will focus on how to interpret alcohol and drug information in ways that directly inform decision-making, parenting plans, and team strategy.

This session will cover:
How to translate substance use data into meaningful, case-relevant insights
Critical questions to assess risk, stability, and appropriate safeguards
Updates on diagnosis and treatment for complex substance-related cases
Matching accountability measures to diagnosis — without over- or under-reacting
