From Training to Cases: Building a Collaborative Practice with the Neutral MHP

How do professionals turn collaborative training into actual collaborative cases—and where does the neutral Mental Health Professional fit into that process? This panel discussion will bring together professionals at different stages of building their collaborative practices to share what has worked, what they have learned, and how they are creating opportunities for collaborative cases. Panelists will also explore the value a neutral MHP brings to the collaborative team, how attorneys and other professionals can effectively incorporate the MHP role, and strategies neutral MHPs can use to become a trusted and visible part of the collaborative community. Attendees will leave with practical ideas for strengthening referral relationships, generating cases, and making the neutral MHP an integral part of the collaborative process.
